YWCA Pekin Women's Recognition Day Luncheon

Women’s Recognition Day honors the contributions of women in Tazewell County. We hope to inspires everyone to follow their goals and make an impact in their communities and, hopefully, fulfill the mission of the YWCA Pekin, dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and enhancing community.

YWCA Pekin has held its Women’s Recognition Day luncheon since 1982. This annual recognition luncheon serves two purposes. The first is to honor women and girls for their outstanding achievements and service in their professions, their community, or their schools. The second purpose of this luncheon is to serve as a fundraiser for the YWCA Pekin.
