Presented by: Dr. Jill Kushner Bishop Dr. Jill Kushner Bishop is Founder & CEO of Multilingual Connections, a global language solutions company that supports translation, transcription, transcreation, and multimedia needs in over 75 languages for organizations across the globe. Jill brought her PhD in linguistic anthropology to the corporate world, where she worked as a user researcher and then oversaw the implementation of language and culture programs for 130 Chipotle Mexican Grill locations. In 2005, she launched Multilingual Connections to help organizations understand, engage, and grow their multilingual audiences. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her husband and teen son, renovating houses, and trying to make her garden grow. Presented by: Cherry Miyake Cherry Miyake is a serial entrepreneur, investor and restless explorer. Cherry promotes commerce between US and China among corporations by constructing and executing transactions on technology transfer, outsourced design and engineering, product development, supply chain management for industries ranging from medical, industrial automation, home and office automation to telecommunication. Cherry holds an MBA from Pepperdine University (CA, USA), Executive Education Certificates from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Cambridge (UK), and two bachelor’s degrees from China. Cherry is passionate about dancing, reading, yoga, fitness, swimming, playing piano, exotic traveling, cultural exploration and making a difference. She grew up in China and has traveled to 40 countries around the globe, she is happily residing in San Diego, California.
