40th Annual YWCA Women's Recognition Day Luncheon

Come to be inspired in your efforts to eliminate racism, empower women, and enhance our community (and eat a delicious lunch).

Women’s Recognition Day honors the contributions of women in Tazewell County. This recognition inspires everyone to follow their goals and make an impact in their communities and, hopefully, fulfill the mission of the YWCA Pekin, which is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.  

Please consider nominating a woman who inspires you, creates a positive impact, or otherwise demonstrates outstanding achievement. Past Recognition Award recipients are listed at ywcapekin.org/womens-recognition-day; if possible, please nominate a woman who has not previously received a Recognition Award.  (previous student award recipients are eligible)
